To be Europe's most intelligent and most trusted Source-to-Pay platform. That is the ambition of ISPnext and Dynatos. The software enables controllers and CFOs to save percentage points on company spend, while gaining more control over spending, supplier risk and regulatory compliance.
From 20% to 80% touchless
Once every step is digitised, you can match the invoice directly against the contract and the purchase order.
5% to 8% savings
According to a global benchmark, end-to-end automation of the procurement process saves 5% to 8% on spend.
Up to 75% cheaper
In practice, e-invoicing is up to 75% cheaper than processing PDF or paper invoices.
To be Europe's most intelligent and most trusted Source-to-Pay platform. That is the ambition of ISPnext and Dynatos, who joined forces in a single company this summer. The software enables controllers and CFOs to save percentage points on company spend. At the same time, it gives them more control over spending, supplier risk and regulatory compliance.
“Without a platform like this, you are essentially flying blind,” says Gustaf Tanate, CEO of ISPnext. In his view, the content of an invoice is the sum of everything that came before it, both right and wrong. That process starts with supplier selection and runs through contract terms and purchase orders all the way to invoice processing. “You shouldn't still be looking for answers at that stage to questions like: Is the price right? Are the quantities correct? Is the supplier's VAT number valid? Have all the required certifications been met?”
“Ideally, those checks are built into the process upfront,” he continues. “Once every step is digitised, you can match the invoice directly against the contract and the order. Finance can go from processing 20% of invoices ‘touchless’ to 80% ‘touchless’. That is a huge gain.”
Plugging the leaks
Automating the process makes it possible to demonstrate, at transaction level, that each transaction is compliant with laws, regulations and internal policies. With that audit trail, organisations can account for their spending to auditors, regulators and stakeholders. “CFOs want demonstrable control over risks and over company spend.”
“Companies often focus on the revenue side, but there is a lot of profit to be found in how money is spent.”
On top of that, the platform delivers savings. Digitising the Source-to-Pay process opens up a world of new insights and analytics for finance professionals. Errors, unnecessary spend and contract deviations are identified faster. “Only then can you stop money from leaking away.”

Contract compliance
Tanate gives two examples. “Some organisations have fifty different suppliers for certain goods or services. That often only becomes clear with a good analytics tool. Bringing that number down to three or four delivers immediate volume gains.”
“If Procurement negotiates a great contract with the best prices and terms, the saving only exists on paper.”
A common problem is purchasing outside existing contracts. “If Procurement negotiates a great contract with the best prices and terms, the saving only exists on paper. We help organisations achieve contract compliance. That gives them control over their spend and prevents hard-won procurement savings from being lost.”
The European mid-market
The combined ISPnext/Dynatos primarily targets mid-sized European companies. According to Tanate, these have different characteristics from large, globally operating enterprises. “Of course mid-market organisations also need mature technology, but they don't have the resources to invest endlessly in large tech platforms. Our modular platform is a good fit for that.”
Data sovereignty and compliance with European regulations are becoming increasingly important selection criteria in software decisions. “We are fully European. Our platform complies with all EU rules on data security and privacy.” As proof, he points to the recently obtained ISO 42001 certification. “This certification anticipates the European AI Act and specifically covers the responsible use of AI.”
An e-invoicing specialist
By joining forces with Dynatos, ISPnext takes a major step forward in Europe. Together they serve around 1,200 customers, with 200 employees in ten countries. “In the Netherlands we are among the top 25 software companies, and in Europe we are one of the largest in our segment. We want to build on that position. We already have offices in Madrid, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Oslo and Antwerp, for example.”
“In practice, e-invoicing is up to 75% cheaper than processing PDF or paper invoices.”
Integrating the Routty platform of Dynatos, originally a Belgian company, makes ISPnext a true e-invoicing specialist. “E-invoicing is already mandatory in Belgium. It is also already mandatory in countries such as France, Poland and Italy.”
The Netherlands will follow with a mandate from 2030. “By then, all invoicing in Europe will run through a limited number of digital standards, such as Peppol. We guarantee our customers that they comply with the laws and regulations of every European country. And in practice, e-invoicing is up to 75% cheaper than processing PDF or paper invoices.”
American competition
As a Source-to-Pay software provider, ISPnext competes mainly with American vendors. According to Tanate, European e-invoicing standards are unfamiliar territory for Americans. “They don't even know the value-added tax system.”
The European roots of ISPnext and Dynatos deserve more recognition in the market, Tanate believes. “Everyone talks about Europe needing to become more independent, but within organisations the origin of a software vendor is not yet a real decision criterion. We stand out on data security and reliability. We give organisations demonstrably more control, transparency and certainty over their Source-to-Pay process. We are ‘Europe’s most trusted’: with us, the data stays in Europe, full stop.”
