Ronny says: "We also looked into the possibilities of a digital invoice processing solution in SAP several years ago. When two employees retired two years ago, it was a good time to look into the possibilities of a digital solution once again. We then decided not to hire new staff and instead to make the switch to an invoice processing program. Euro Shoe had actually already selected another provider in this area. Because a consultant from our ERP Partner Dimensys was very enthusiastic about ISPnext's solution, we included them in the selection process. After, among other things, a reference visit to an ISPnext customer, we chose ISPnext's SAP solution. The total solution and solid comprehensive linking options to SAP were key factors in this choice."

"A major advantage is that everything is instantly digitally retrievable now in both SAP and ISPnext's invoice processing solution. Every department and budget manager can fully see all invoices for which he or she is responsible. Previously, people made printouts, copies or came to pick up a copy at the accounting department. It was very time consuming for both approvers and accounting. This is now no longer necessary due to digital approval. It certainly saves a considerable amount of time. The accounting staff no longer get interrupted in their work, and the other staff can easily view the invoices on their own screens," Put continued.

Training Promotes Acceptance 

"During the project, we were in regular contact with ISPnext. Despite the fact that we went live later than planned, we are very pleased with the results. At first, people had trouble switching to a new way of working. As always, people needed time to become familiar with something new. That simply takes time. What certainly helped was the training in the beginning. Employee acceptance improved significantly as a result. People had to get used to a new digital system and, more importantly, to the different way of working. By now, we are completely accustomed to the new system and notice a clear efficiency advantage. As mentioned earlier, less time is needed for both approvers and accounting since everyone can see invoices anywhere. In addition, we effectively save one FTE in accounting. That gives Euro Shoe a nice return on investment," concluded Put.
